Special Notice To ALL Members

Historically, we have experienced a large number of Non-Members using your ranges
in the weeks just before hunting season. That creates a major problem.

Many of them are NOT familiar with range safety rules, and that posses a serious risk to you and everyone on the range.

To help remove this risk, volunteers will be on the range checking for membership cards from now to hunting season. Please cooperate with them. If you forget you card stop at the office and we will issue a duplicate. DO NOT go to the range without your card - you will be asked to leave.

How you can help;
1 - If you see an unsafe act, safely get everyone's attention immediately and stop everyone from
shooting until the problem has been corrected. Keep in mind that if a non-member is on your
range and hasn't gotten a guest pass from the office, they are TREASPASSING WITH A
           FIREARM.

2 - Volunteer your services as a safety officer. For more information stop at the office.

3 - Make sure you register your guests before going the range. (Limit 1 guest per visit though November)

4 - ALWAYS lock the gates behind you.

5 - Set a good example - FOLLOW THE RULES.
* ALL bullets must impact a bask stop berm.
* No shooting at objects that could cause a ricochet to leave the down range area.
* All firearms to be pointed down range at all times.
* NO ONE handles a firearm if ANYONE is forward the firing line.
* Firearms are NOT allowed down range.
* Firearms not in use MUST be unloaded with actions open.
* When you are on the range ~ Safety Is Everyone's Responsibility.

Thanks for your help & cooperation.
