Navigators note ** There is no road sign on the south end of Woodhill road.

We have been known as the best kept secret in Western Mass.


From Route 84 ~ Connecticut ~ (Exit 70)

Take route 32 North through Stafford Springs (32 North turns left as you enter Stafford Springs & bears to the right as you head out of town) Follow 32 North into Massachusetts. 4 miles from the Ct / Ma border, you will pass Wales road, King Ave, & Whitney Ave. on your right ~ take your next left onto Bliss Street (Bliss becomes Lower Hampden ~ at this point your about 3 miles from the club) Stay straight on Lower Hampden past Ely Road on your right. You will come to a sharp right turn (Mayhill road will be on your left) look for Butler Raod on your left then take your next right onto Woodhill (There is no road sign for Woodhill).

The Springfield Spotsmans Club is approx .25miles. There will be a sign on your left. Rifle & pistol ranges are across the 


From Palmer (Exit 8 ~ Mass Pike)

Turn right (heading South) on Thorndike Street (by the Shell station on your right), go to 2nd light, turn left on main Street go about 1 block, turn right on Bridge Street, (Bridge Street becomes Upper Palmer Road - No signs) Drive approx. 3.5 miles and turn right on Stebbins Road (There is a road sign), Go to the end of Stebins and turn right onto Wilbraham Road, go approx 1/4 mile and bear left on Upper Hampden Road(sign for Hampden but no road sign) Go approx 1/2 mile and turn left onto Woodhill road. (Woodhill is marked from the North end but the sign is very high) The Springfield Spotsmans Club is approx 1.5 miles. There will be a sign on your right. Rifle & pistol ranges are across the street.

The Hunting season is upon us! 

Bird hunting started September 15th and deer hunting starts October 17th with the Archery season.  Any tree stand still on the property from last year will be removed October 8th unless registered with the Board of Directors before hand.  Please call Bob Mastroianni at 413-427-2862 with any questions.

Our membership renewal process has changed.

Renewal applications will be mailed out in October. ALL renewals must be mailed back to the club for processing.

New Members:

Anyone wishing to join our club for the first time must come to a meeting at the club the 2nd Monday of the month.  Meeting starts at 6 pm - all are welcome. Please send all questions about memberships to the membership committee via the contact page.
